My name is Cailin. It's one letter from being one of the most common names in America, which has been a very formative part of my life.

I was born in North Carolina, raised in Asia, and moved to Los Angeles to go to the University of Southern California. I graduated in May 2014 with a degree in Film & Television Production and a minor in East Asian Languages and Cultures. I am not fluent in Mandarin or Japanese, but I probably speak enough to impress your parents.

I write, produce, direct, and believe in the Oxford comma. Ultimately, I want to produce, write, and direct feature films and television. (I also want everyone to start using the Oxford comma, but I realize that's a mere pipe dream.) I'd like to be a part of stories that make people laugh and think. Hopefully at the same time.

Beyond my vague professional goals, someday I hope to own a fancy coffeemaker, the Before trilogy on blu-ray, and several dogs. One time I talked about dogs with Mark Hamill in his kitchen. That's an awkward transition/fun fact that I like dropping casually in uncomfortable conversations. I feel like "about me" pages are a one sided uncomfortable conversation. Thankfully, this one is about to be over.

(I am pictured above on my favorite day of fall 2017 in a rare denim on denim combo because I have no cold tolerance and needed to wear both of my jackets.)

My e-mail address is in case you were wondering. I bet you could have guessed that. You seem smart.
